WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Our pup is in love with Judith, and so are we! Our first board and train with Red Mountain Canine was when our doggo Salami was really young (and not fully vaccinated). Judith did so much for him—safely exposing him to new sights and sounds, helping him become comfortable with body handling, and most importantly, giving him a super strong training foundation. Her communication during this time was unparalleled—we got regular updates, photos and videos of his progress, equipment recommendations, and a written summary of his training.

Since our initial board and train, Salami’s stayed with Judith two more times, and he's always so happy to see her! Judith is our person now—we trust her implicitly, and are so grateful to have found her.

Dog boarding with Red Mountain Board & Train was an absolute delight, and we are so grateful to have found them! Judith was so accommodating and patient with us and our dog. She had great communication throughout the process, posting pictures and providing daily updates. Our extremely fearful 2-year old dog warmed up to Judith in a short period of time (and our dog is terrified of everyone). As expected, our nervous dog was hesitant to eat while away from us, but Judith had the patience of a saint in trying to administer her medication and get her to eat throughout the stay. The remote location was well worth the drive, as we have found our new dog boarder. We highly recommend giving Red Mountain a try--you won’t be disappointed!

We boarded our 9 1/2 month old mini Aussie (who has reactivity issues with other dogs and new situations) and older Aussie with Judith over Thanksgiving. Her facility was spacious and very clean. The dogs were boarded in large kennels in a temperature controlled garage. There was soothing music playing and a large tv that the dogs could watch nature shows. They were exercised in a large pen to burn off energy and  she walked both dogs many times during the day. Additionally, she provided 4 training sessions a day for the puppy to expose him to chickens, new people and other dogs.

Since this was the first time the puppy had been away from us, it took a few days for him to settle down. With Judith’s patience and training he settled pretty quickly.

She kept in touch frequently every day with emails and videos. We were so impressed with the experience that we will be boarding both dogs again in May.
